About O.R.Y. Women

We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization. O.R.Y. Women is a Christian-based non-profit organization. Older women Reaching back for the Younger women, is comprised of spiritually mature women who have a vested interest in providing wellness information, improving spiritual awareness, and spiritual growth support; who promote a holistic lifestyle according to the Bible geared toward young women and teen young ladies.

O.R.Y. Women is a community-based development organization that provides broad-based community involvement through public service events to build-up and empower young women and teen young ladies mentally, physically, and spiritually. We serve as a distribution hub for resource information from different sources to connect young women and teens young ladies with needed services and information.

O.R.Y. Women was founded by Lisa Bell in Missouri in 2009. We recruited and developed our volunteer base and launched our mission. Early activities include our Youth Rally that has officially evolved  into an Annual Young Women’s and Teen Young Ladies’ Conference beginning in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2014. We offer young women and teen young ladies a free 2-fold day made up of spiritual enrichment, shared experiences, activities, and resources provided by our many vendors that include health and wellness, education, protection, prevention, awareness, and hope and healing information.

O.R.Y. Women are advocates of these great missions: the Human Trafficking Task Force of Southern Colorado, Gospel Homes for Women and TESSA by partnering in their activities.

Marks of the True Christian
“Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight. Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.’ To the contrary, ‘if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.’ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” (Romans 12:9-21, ESV).
